    Description

This is an nicely illustrated book that was used by retailers "
    for customers use
" as a counter display item to promote Lowe Brothers products. The first few pages have photos of homes and the exterior paint colors used. This is followed by suggested color combination for interior rooms. Color charts, brochures, paint can labels, information and instructions fill the remainder of the book. It is about 11" by 10½", and has 64 pages. Most of the pages are heavy cardstock. It is about an inch thick. The front cover is in very good condition for it age, just showing light wear. The remainder of the book is in very good condition, except for two pages where a leaf was pressed (see picture). It is Edition 76, which appears to be the late 1930's.
There is a page with pictures of the offices, warehouses, mill and plants in Dayton, OH, and another page with pictures of branches and warehouses in Omaha, Chicago, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Memphis, Boston, Jersey City, and Minneapolis.
I purchased this at a yard sale in Central Indiana several years ago, and there is a post-it note from the person holding the sale explaining that this was from her grandfather's store that was in Westport, IN.
Shipment is through USPS Priority Mail.
