    Description

    Presenting....a Vintage Hand-Painted Wooden Basket, lined with a lace paper doily and ivory grass....and one (1) LARGE Antique~Victorian~Primitive Blown Milk Glass Egg.  The basket is painted a lilac/lavender color, decorated with floral motif.....and ribbon embellishment featuring yellow and pink tulips. There is very gentle/chippy wear to the basket; it measures 8 1/2" high to the top of the handle, and the basket itself is 6" long x 4 1/2" wide x 4" high.  The egg is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, measuring 5 1/2" long; it has somewhat of a satin finish.  There is the pontil mark on the end, and there are the usual marks from the glassmaking process, like swirls/striations, variations within the coloring of the milk glass, and unique anomalies; all characteristics inherent to old glass....please view all pictures.  A charming addition for your Easter décor....all ready to display!  Thank you for visiting my auctions; please email with any questions.
