Edison Blue Amberol Concert Record #28101 Tales of Hoffman Barcarolle 1912

Here is a wonderful Edison Blue Amberol Concert Series Cylinder, #28101. This is the famous Barcarolle from the Offenbach opera "The Tales of Hoffman", sung by Marie Rappold and Thomas Chalmers, with orchestra.  This is a reissue of four minute Amberol #28024 from August 1912, Edison released this cylinder in December 1912.  Very nice rendition, I enjoyed it a lot.  The cylinder plays well with fairly minimal surface noise.  I will include a somewhat battered but period correct cylinder box for you.  The Concert cylinders were expensive and did not interest most cylinder machine owners, all these years later they are not easy to find!  Impress your opera loving friends with this recording, at a reasonable buy it now price, go for it!!
