Here is a wonderful cylinder, Edison Blue Amberol #1633, the famous hymn "Rock of Ages", performed by the Edison Mixed Quartet (members include Elizabeth Spencer and John Young), with orchestra.  This is a "direct" recording made on September 23, 1912, and Edison released the cylinder in March 1913.  A lovely rendition of the music, you will enjoy it.  The cylinder plays well with fairly minimal surface noise.  I will include a period correct, if battered, cylinder box for you.  Add this hymn to your sacred cylinder collection, giveaway buy it now price, go for it!!
