    Description

Here is a nice Edison Blue Amberol cylinder, #3443, the song "We Want the Flowers Now", sung by tenor Vernon Dalhart and baritone Thomas Chalmers (using the pseudonym "Lawrence E. Gilbert"), and orchestra.  This was recorded on October 2, 1917, and Edison issued the cylinder in May 1918.  A sentimental but beautiful song, you will enjoy it.  Mr. Dalhart was an operatically trained tenor, this is about six years before he started singing "mountaineer" or "country" songs.  The cylinder plays quite well with fairly limited surface noise.  I will include a period correct (if somewhat battered) cylinder box for you.  Neat addition for your cylinder collection at a reasonable buy it now price, go for it!!!
Shipping to USA addresses only.  .95 first class mail postage and fees, I will ship cylinder in a new box.  Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the cylinder, your positive feedback appreciated!  See my store for many more cylinder records, I will combine shipping if you buy more than one, and thanks for looking!!
