    Description

Here is a very scarce Edison Blue Amberol cylinder record, #5154, the traditional "I Wish I Was a Single Girl Again",
a tune sung by Vernon Dalhart, with the well known Carson Robison on guitar. This was recorded on July 17, 1925, but not released on cylinder until May 1926.  I would have thought the lyrics would have been changed to "single boy";  Mr. Dalhart was a trained musician, I guess he sung whatever was put in front of him!  Cylinder plays loudly and well with little surface noise.  I will also include a period correct Blue Amberol cylinder box.  As you might know, this is from near the end of cylinder production.  Edison was selling cylinders directly from the New Jersey factory, competing against its (small number of remaining) dealers.  Also, a fairly small number of cylinders were made in comparison to cylinder runs earlier in the 1920's.  Add this to your collection, reasonable buy it now price, don't pass it up!
Shipping to USA addresses only.  .50 media mail postage and handling fee.  Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I mail the cylinder, your positive feedback appreciated!  See my store for many more cylinder records, I will combine shipping if you buy more than one, and thanks for looking!!
