Here is a nice Edison Blue Amber #2942, the song  "Are You From Dixie?"
, performed by the one and only Billy Murray, with Helen Clark and his Premier Quartet buddies in the chorus, and orchestra. .  This was recorded on May 25, 1916, and Edison released the cylinder in September 1916.  A light and breezy song with fine backup from Miss Clark and the boys, a fun listen.  The cylinder plays quite well with some surface noise.  There is also some plaster of paris loss on one end of the cylinder, as shown in the third picture. The cylinder plays just fine, but if this bothers you, do not buy the cylinder.  I will also provide a period correct cylinder box for you.  Wonderful 1 cylinder for your Murray collection at a reasonable buy it now price, go for it!!!
