    Description

Here is an interesting Edison Blue Amberol cylinder, #2598, the vaudeville routine "The Insect Powder Agent" performed by Billy Golden and his occasional partner, James Marlowe, with banjo.   This is a "direct" recording and Edison released this cylinder in May 1915.  Black dialect, laughing, racist jokes and comments, I assume it was funny way back when, ending in a song with the banjo. The cylinder plays well with moderate surface noise.  I will include a period correct (if somewhat battered) cylinder box for you.  This is (an unfortunate part of) America's history, own it at my reasonable buy it now price, go for it!!
Shipping to USA addresses only.  .50 media mail postage and fees, I will ship cylinder in a new box.  Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the cylinder, your positive feedback appreciated!  See my store for more cylinder records, I will combine shipping if you buy more than one, and thanks for looking!!
