Helmet of the former Japanese Navy.
The helmets themselves are from the time of the war,
and all others are replicas from Nakata Shoten.
They are in very clean condition!
I purchased this set of 2 helmets in 2004.
Please see the 7th photo, one was made
into a naval iron helmet and the other was
made into an army iron helmet.
The naval iron cap was fully painted to
prevent age-related deterioration due to
scratches on the actual cap.
The army iron cap is only the scratched part,
so please refer to the difference in color.
See the sixth photo.
The iron cap cover, false mesh, inner lining,
etc.
were all purchased from Nakata Shoten and finished.
