Japanese Officer Sword with Shark Skin Scabbard

Replica WWII Japanese Officers Katana sword with shark skin scabbard. This sword was made in the 1950-60's either as a copy or a film prop. While not made to the same level of quality as the original Japanese examples, it is still well made. The sword is in good overall condition with a 32” blade and overall length of 42”. The blade shows scabbard marks retaining the majority of its polished finish with no apparent sharpening, it could use a good cleaning. The handguard is brass with a floral decoration. The grip is leather wrapped "ray skin." The "shark skin" scabbard is in good condition with hammered brass ornamentation and hangers. Overall in good condition. With a good cleaning and some TLC it will make a nice display piece.
