    Description

    Large Hand Blown Covered Milk Glass Pedestal Bowl.  The round bowl is decorated around its center with blue string glass shaped with extended round dots of glass.  The bowl rim is decorated with a yellow band of color.  The bowl tapers to the applied clear glass pedestal base that has a knobbed center with a swirled shape. The bottom part of the pedestal flares to a round-shaped bottom.  The bowl cover also has the same blue string glass as the bowl.  The string glass is applied around its edge. The cover has an applied clear glass pointed finial.  The bowl is not marked.
    SIZE:  13 inches high x 7 1/2 inches wide.
    CONDITION:  The tip of the cover finial has a rough spot with a tiny loss. The cover rim has a spot with a tiny bit of additional glass -- so the cover needs a small adjustment when using -- it fits the bowl fine. Where the string glass meets, the joining is not perfect.  The flaws are minor.
