NEW REPLACEMENT RUBBER DRIVE BELT FOR EDISON FIRESIDE PHONOGRAPH

Description

This is a brand new rubber drive belt that is ideal for the Edison Fireside phonograph. However, please note in some cases of selling these, I have come across model A machines that took a belt over 11" long, whereas this "normal" belt for the model B is much smaller. If you happen to have a Model A 2 speed machine, try measuring and see if it needs an 11"+ belt. I do have a longer belt  I've traced down to fit these machines that need the longer belt. These are far better than leather belts. Leather belts may be original, but they don't run smoothly, loosen in cold, shrink in heat, crack, and slip more easily if oil gets on them. Plus, this throw-on belt saves you the hassle of measuring, gluing and/or sewing together. I've been using them for over many years, and love their performance.

Thanks guy. I am sick of mandrels wowing because I can't splice leather together to save my life... Surprising, they really work!!!! Great item. Go with the rubber! Had me up and running in minutes. Much better than leather. Belt works great.
