    As shown in photo #2, this shank stylus is for use with phonographs that have either an Edison adapter, or ones that have reproducers that rotate to play vertically recorded discs. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS. Many different makes/models in the WW1 period had convertible reproducers, like Silvertone, Cheney, and others.
