Harvest Grape Pattern
White Milk Glass Compote Bowl
Known as a wedding bowl, but the possibilities for other functional uses are endless
This large pedestal dish can be used as a serving bowl ~ home decor ~ wedding decor ~ flower vase ~ or even a nuts/candy bowl
The bowl is composed of a grape vine pattern along the sides of the bowl and base
The stem of the compote dish flares out to the base
The stem has raised ridges that give the dish and pattern more adepth
The rim of the compote dish is scalloped giving the dish a flowery shape
Indiana Glass manufactured the Harvest Grape until the mid 1980s.
The pattern is a classic and fits perfectly in any decor ~ the grapes are subtly raised and give a nice contrast to the solid milk glass color
Bowl measures approximately 7.5" tall ~ 10" wide at the rim ~ and 5" diameter at the base
Sturdy white milk glass
No visible markings to denote maker or date of manufacture
Bowl is in good ~ vintage ~ pre-owned condition with minor wear from use ~ no chips~ cracks or heavy scuffing/scratching ~ Typical manufacturing inconsistencies (pitting/swirling)
