This piece is a vintage milk glass covered vanity box. It's a nice functional size, see photos to scale with a yardstick.
The exterior of the bowl has a blunted diamond pattern with bands of bars breaking up the pattern. The lid repeats the same diamond pattern and the finial is a nice size with some detailing.
The box is in good condition save for a tiny flaw to the underside. I'm not sure if it's an anomaly in the glass from when it was made or if it's an odd spot of damage. There is a small arc of stark white on the bottom edge. The spot is completely smooth, you can run your fingernail over it and it won't catch. Either way, it's quite minor and out of sight.
