    The only remaining historical photographs in Japan that have escaped censorship by the Army, Navy, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Intelligence Bureau. This 192-page color book contains Mainichi Shimbun's treasure trove of unauthorized photographs from the Second Shanghai Incident to the Sino-Japanese War.
    At the time of World War II, the Japanese military censored and covered up all photographs that were unfavorable to their country.
    This photobook is a collection of such photos.
