Description
DescriptionThis is a replica of the insignia presented to generals of military merit in the Manchurian Empire during World War II.
Manchukuo was a state that existed from 1932 to 1945 in what is now northeastern China. It bordered present-day North Korea (then a Japanese territory), Russia, Mongolia, and China, and was a constitutional monarchy modeled after the United States.
Because of the short period of its existence as a nation and the fact that it has already been lost, Manchukuo stamps and coins are said to be scarce, but the medals that are awarded to a limited number of people are even rarer.
An authentic one would be worth 1,000 usd.
Replicas are valuable because they were made in limited quantities, but at a lower price.
