Up for sale is a WWII Era Japanese Arisaka Type 38 Rifle Dust Cover.  The dust cover is approximately 6" total length.  This is a dead on reproduction of the original.  These will fit MOST Type 38 rifles, although minor fitting might be necessary.  If fitting is necessary, minor filing of the edges is all that should be required to get the proper fit.  It should be noted that all original dust covers were fitted to the rifle and stamped with the rifles serial number on the edge. So fitting is a NORMAL procedure.  The dust cover is unmarked.
These are high quality US Made Reproductions, far superior in fit and finish that the cheaper imports.
